Nechako Valley Exhibition Society

Welcome!

About Us

The NVES is a non-profit society run by a Board of Directors and consisting of a general membership. The Society owns and maintains the 42 acre Exhibition Grounds in Vanderhoof, BC which is host to community events such as the annual Fall Fair.

We also rent the facilities to community groups, businesses, and private individuals. We rent our buildings and arenas for weddings, company picnics, games days, canine events, etc.

Several clubs are closely associated with the NVES and use the Exhibition Grounds regularly. The society is supported in large part by our generous sponsors.

If you have an interest in any aspect of agriculture and want to get involved in the community, please become a member or volunteer with the Society! Everyone is welcome to attend our monthly meetings, held the third Monday of each month at 7:00pm in the NVES office (inside the arena building). You can also review previous meeting minutes.

Billboards: Billboard advertising space is available in the indoor arena. Prices vary depending on size and location. Please contact the office for more information.

Volunteering

The Nechako Valley Exhibition Society greatly relies on the support of our dedicated volunteers to put on events, complete projects around the grounds and to run the Exhition each year. You will be helping one of Vanderhoof's major non-profit facilities continue to operate and grow.

Students are encouraged to contact the NVES to complete required volunteer hours for school.

Please download a Volunteer Form to see what areas you might be interested in helping with. Thank you in advance for your support!
